IGES

 

Initial Graphics Exchange Specification

 

Ansi standard, evolution will stop. New standard will be the ISO STEP interface.

IGES export files have the extension *.igs

 

 

Supported IGES versions:

 

version 5.3 or earlier

 

 

Supported IGES entities:

 

The table below lists the IGES entities that are recognized and translated when reading in an IGES file.
If the IGES file contains entities not listed here, they will be ignored in the translation process.
